PEOPLE FIRST

Melissa seeks to serve the people of the 167th District as their State Representative. She will work for solutions with responsible outcomes that support education, pro-economy with tax reform, safe communities, and Pennsylvania's natural energy.

Melissa currently resides in Charlestown Township, Chester County.  She is dedicated to assisting small businesses and understands that they are the vital carriers of Chester County's economy.

Melissa grew up in Maine, in a family of small business owners, where she learned the importance of self-reliance and the ethics of hard work.  Those lessons inform how she will represent and serve the 167th District, based on ethos that "governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed."

Melissa is currently an outreach partner for several community members, ranging from equine interaction to vocational education.  She also serves as the Chairperson for Charlestown Township's Historic Architectural Review Board and Liaison to Planning and Zoning.

Melissa's campaign is based on, "PEOPLE FIRST," emphasizing the importance of committed, ethical leadership within the community.
